Lillian was very conscientious and prompt in returning phone calls, texts, and emails. She was pleasant, knowledgeable and easy to work with.

The process of refinancing with Commerce Home Mortgage, however, was unpleasant and difficult. We first had to assemble a list of 13 required documentation items, which took a long time to compile from sources in Michigan, Arizona, federal and state governments, banks, insurance companies, etc. After complying and being told that everything was in order, we were then asked for more documentaton items. Again, we were told that things were going well only to be informed soon after that the underwriters wanted more information. This went on ad nauseum until we were asked for information that did not exist in the form the underwriters wanted. We spent countless hours on the phone and on "hold", trying to reach offices to get information, some of which was not even available. The whole process was frustrating, irritating, and frankly insulting.

None of this was Lillian's fault. She was patient and thorough and sorry for the inconvenience. It was all very aggravating, however, because much of the asked-for information looked like an after-thought and unnecessary duplication of what had already been submitted. Unfortunately, the experience was not satisfying.

Lillian was excellent to work with. She was always on top of what needed to be done, stayed in constant communication with us over the loan process and gave clear instructions for what she needed from us. I highly recommend Lillian Wong!
